I’m somewhat thinking about making a sideblog for the times I rant about problems

I mean they’re not always Tron related, and I admit I can be depressing sometimes…

since I’m not someone who follows up every description of a problem with a clearly pointed finger and set of simple instructions on Who has to do What to fix it. I’m someone who admits there’s no such thing, and often no way to fix it at all.

but then why write about problems in all their unsolvable complexity? Eh. Part vent. But also part recognition that when there is no clear solution, the best thing you can do is at least help people realize that…

so that maybe they can learn to stop adding extra harm with all those clearly pointed fingers and simple instructions that won’t actually fix anything, only blame each other for not fixing it

Anyway I don’t know if I’ll do this as a sideblog on Tumblr; I’m kinda hoping to wean off Tumblr onto doing more independently hosted stuff. Maybe this’ll end up being a section of my Astercontrol.com website

And maybe it’ll be called No Solutions, Only Problems. as a big fat dig at Kevin Flynn.

Anyway, here, have some lyrics to pore over. I learned recently that Journey wrote this song for the 1982 Tron movie… so this is possibly the only mainstream music with lyrics ever written to be specifically about that particular disaster of a man.
