Yeah, I know, I’m one of them. I just didn’t see how this was easier because recipes call for such specific measurements but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I just didn’t get it at first but I also have dyscalculia so my brain got stuck on “but what if you need an uneven measurement” and didn’t realize you can just cut things in half or fourths and figure it out. I was like…how many recipes exist that specifically call for 4tbs of butter…? How is this “perfectly portioned” if every recipe calls for a different ammount of butter?? But you just. You cut it. I get it now.
Wow. I also did not imagine how this could make things easier for disabled people because I personally find unwrapping things a much harder fine motor task than cutting… so this would make everything harder for me lol… But yeah, there are all different disabilities that need all kinds of different accommodations.
