In retrospect it’s really very obvious there was never gonna be an apocalypse where laws and government are suddenly gone and it’s a survival free-for-all.

I mean, sure, government right now is not what we previously understood “government” to mean…. and isn’t following what we previously agreed on as “laws,” but… they’re still telling us we gotta do whatever they say or they’ll beat us up.

And honestly, come to think of it, I actually find it very hard to imagine an “apocalypse” where there isn’t someone (probably the one with the most control of resources and firepower) doing and saying all that.
