It’s all about Parental Rights when the parents want the right to have their kid unvaccinated, uneducated about evolution or climate change or safe sex, and sent to conversion therapy

the Parental Rights disappear so fast, as soon as parents want actual human rights for their kid

(Or even want something like “parental freedom to choose what level of Internet censorship the kid has to face, instead of having the government decide that”)

Kind of like how the Civil War was about “states’ rights” (to have slavery) and definitely NOT about “states’ rights” (to protect people escaping from slavery)

Kind of like how everything that wants to take away freedom always brands itself as protecting freedom
