I think it’s probably the current climate of … everything, but I’ve been aware of my swear word usage lately, more than I have been since i was a 19-year-old using the Internet for the first time

Anyway, my last post had 2 F-bombs

so it’s beyond PG-13 and is now R-rated, no one under 17 is allowed to see it without an accompanying parent

wonder how soon this is gonna be enforced.

Aster, this is Tumblr. “Fuck” is tame compared to many things on here.

Indeed. Which is why I fear for its continued existence, if censorship laws start getting enforced by people who still think the MPAA movie rating system makes sense.

Why does no one have the balls or spine to stand up to the ones doing this?

I guess it’s that we can’t all agree on what’s the right way to “stand up to” them.

Protests in the streets? Signing petitions? Voting for the politicians who promise the closest thing to a reasonable choice on this issue? Hacktivism? Boycotts? Actual violence against those who are causing the problems?

All of those things get done, at least sometimes.

But none on a huge enough scale to rival the resources that our billionaire enemies have.

MAYBE if enough people agreed to do the same thing, we’d get somewhere.

But just look at Tumblr and try to imagine enough people agreeing to do the same thing.

I mean … I guess it happened with the Mishapocalypse.

Haven’t seen that energy since, though.
