One of my favorite moments in “TRON” is when Kevin Flynn mistakenly calls Tron “Alan” and Tron reacts with MAXIMUM SUSPICION, as if Flynn just casually called him by his pornsona name at his day job.

(because to me his response seemed more like pearl-clutching at blasphemy… YOU SIR DO NOT KNOW MY GOD WELL ENOUGH TO JUST CASUALLY SAY HIS NAME LIKE THAT)
(BUT, in my interpretation of how the User-Program bond works in the Tron world– and I have a conspiracy-theory-board of canon references to support this, but it’s still mainly just because of what I personally like– anyway, in my hc, that bond is a perfect blend of both religious and sexual love, and is also their day job.)
(When you’re a program, you’re worshipping your god, and also doing regular daily work, and also getting off, all the time. It’s all the same thing to them. It’s the perfect world to me and I wanna live there)
(so yes. It’s the name of his deity and his boss and, in a sense, yeah, it’s also his porn name as well.)
(And anyway, I imagine that– of all the programs who have this sort of bond with their User– Tron is among the most devoted and protective, on all levels of the relationship. So YEAH he’s suspicious. This stranger has NO CLAIM to Alan-1. Is he trying to desecrate my god, or take my job, or fuck my lover? In any case I will fucking fight him.)
