why are they selling stuff? Do they think they can take the money with them?
Maybe they think it’ll increase their chance of heaven? I mean the Bible does say that to be saved you gotta sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor.
Not sure what they expect the poor to do with it, though, if everything’s ending tomorrow.
Maybe it sticks them with the sin bill, because now they’re the ones who die rich and therefore go to hell? In the final days, money becomes a hot potato to pass on to whoever else you can?
Idk.
