Yesterday I overheard a trans woman saying to another “the fourth law of robotics is that the robot has to be gay and trans” and a cis guy nearby going “oh what? I only know the first three” and her repeating “yeah it says the robot has to be gay and trans. Asimov wrote that” and him earnestly saying “whoa I didn’t know that!”
It’s like that joke “why don’t robots have brothers? Because they all have trans-sisters!”
which, if you take “trans-sisters” to mean actual robots who are trans and are sisters – has some wide reaching implications
Possibly including that all robots are either trans women or nonbinary (haha insert binary code joke here)
And thus, any attraction between robots is…. probably something other than hetero
So. yeah. Fourth law follows from the transistor thing
