i think one of the biggest uses of animal shapeshifting would be crossing borders where humans aren’t allowed to cross but nobody cares about animals crossing
smugglers being called coyotes because they literaly are. and they bite you and make you a were-coyote too, and that’s how they help you across the border
there’s so many questions about animorph world.
i’d like to believe hunting would be illegal, and this would lead to a more unbordered world, but i have a feeling there would be a lot of nazi officers camping the borders, “hunting”.
