…I’m like a few generations back in that line of Spirk shippers (from back when we called it K/S, but not as far back as calling it The Premise) and I wanna let the new shippers know, I am not glaring at you and judging you like in that picture AT ALL. Because 1. you very likely aren’t even shipping the same incarnation of Kirk and Spock that I did and so i have absolutely no concern for how you do it, and 2. If you ARE shipping the original TOS version then I’ve already seen a hundred people over the course of two decades get every possible thing wrong with them, and so I do not care about that anymore either. The one thing that’s eternal is People Write What They Want and you can’t change that, so if you don’t like it, read another one, god knows there’s plenty.
At least that’s my ancestor-wisdom. Different ancestors will give you different lessons of course. But you’re the Avatar, do your own thing!
