but mostly because I hate the pattern recognizer in my own brain
but mostly because I hate that its primary takeaway from watching Strange Behavior was that the word “shrimp” always means Dan Shor (because of how his character in that movie called himself a “gourmet shrimp”)
and thus my favorite comfort character, Ram, is now always “shrimp” in my mind
whether it’s “popcorn shrimp” to emphasize his bond with his creator, or perhaps “rainbow peacock shrimp” to emphasize his flamboyant gayness
and therefore… mostly i just hate that “shrimp display proper animations when killed” means nothing to me, except that improved deresolution effects would somehow have made Ram’s death scene more acceptable
