yes he shaves every morning but within an hour his beard tentacles have grown back. also, the tentacle clippings in his trashcan have now each regenerated into a little tiny version of him that he has to dump into the sea. But if he didn’t shave he’d eventually be one ship-sized tentacle monster with a little human body somewhere in the middle of it
