so I wouldn’t have thought the real explanation for the above photo could possibly be more terrifying than my initial, typically deranged interpretation, which was “I’m a mechanic and my hands look like this (pixelized in real life) because I wear PPE (which apparently at my job is some kind of Palm-Pixelizing-Elixir)”

EDIT: somehow did not occur to me that this could be a Tron scenario. but. holy shit. if Beck the mechanic had pixelized hands from his work, that would be some serious work-related injury poor guy. (and he lives in a dystopia at least as bad as ours, and I can only assume having mechanic-specific hand injuries would make him particularly identifiable to Clu’s occupation forces. don’t share pics in a dystopia, programs!!)
