sometimes a post will start right out the gate with some shit like “as we all know, the majority of tumblr users have murdered at least one pegasus.” and it makes you briefly doubt your understanding of this entire platform and everyone on it. what if I am surrounded by pegasus murderers and I don’t know it. what if my mutuals, who have not killed any pegasi, are weird outliers. then you regain your senses and think, no, op is just unhinged. this multi-paragraph rant about widespread pegasus killing being a key component of the machinery of fascism just objectively makes no sense. and you’re about to scroll on past when you notice: 37,000 notes
