write this down now, just in case:
If my Tumblr account ever disappears, you can email me at astercontrol(at)proton(dot)me
or check my neocities website (astercontrol dot com)
and we’ll go from there to figure out how we’ll stay in touch
but we will NOT lose each other.
Okay??
Feel free to reblog with how you can be reached in the event of Tumblr failing you and/or everyone. I’m not losing touch with any more friends if I can help it.
What’s going on
As far as I know, nothing more than usual (Tumblr being generally overeager with the ban-hammer and the ever-annoying advertising)… I’m just getting less and less trusting about its future as time goes on.
But this is a general feeling I have about most companies.
and I’m taking what steps I can on many fronts. For example I’m also getting less trusting of Mac and Windows and taking some steps toward Linux.
If anything I’m doing at the moment could possibly be classified as New Years resolutions, it’s that kind of stuff. Just being prepared. For whatever.
