And I was thinking about that comic page, and how the demons in hell or whatever were, like …afraid that, if Hellboy ate the food in the human world, he would stay there and never come back, or something And it made me wonder, like. If Hellboy had not eaten any human food, would he have returned to hell? and, would that have just happened by just… dying of starvation and going to hell like a regular dead person And THEN that made me think about the whole idea of being stuck in the Fae realm because of eating Fae food And I made up a whole mythos about like. what if this earth is actually the hell that bad faeries go to when they die in Faeryland And if you somehow leave this world and end up in Faeryland it’s because you’re a dead damned faery getting resurrected by some asshole faery necromancer And that’s why eating food makes you stay there. Just because you gotta eat food to stay alive. And that’s why you can only get back home by starving to death and getting sent back to fae hell where you belong.
