I have an Eastern European coworker with a very heavy accent and a kind of slow, rhythmic cadence to his voice.

It is so hard to pay attention to him. It is SO hard. My brain keeps tuning him out. It requires Full Total Attention to keep track of what he’s saying. The moment I am even vaguely distracted during a meeting whatever he’s saying turns to mush in my brain. AND HE IS SUCH A NICE AND HELPFUL COWORKER?! I feel like the worst person.
