…but I don’t know if I’d use the term “trans woman” exactly, it’s more like “I think gender is much more fluid for programs than humans and they don’t have quite the same concept of male and female that humans do, and I think Ram in particular likes to have a whole lot of fun with all that”
Also, as I’ve pointed out before, Ram was only once referred to as “he” in the entire movie (by Kevin Flynn, who never once in his life had any idea what was going on)

More specific headcanons about transition:
1. Yori (per the Deleted Scene) has the canonical ability to alter both her own appearance and her surroundings. therefore she can also make whatever edits other programs may want made to their physical graphics. If Ram ever wants digital top and bottom surgery, Yori’s the expert. (She’s also, IMO, in a very obviously open relationship with Tron, who definitely spent that time in the cells in the type of relationship with Ram where they took care of each other’s needs. So when Ram rerezzes and finds them, the three of them become the softest sweetest software suite on the grid and they have all sorts of genderbending fun.)
