God the best thing ever given to the TRON community was Bruce Boxleitner saying that Tron purrs like a kitty cat
Makes me wonder when Alan was making Tron and just thinking “Man, I should make my program kinda act like a little kitty cat and be silly.”
I do like the idea that the purr was there before Rinzler and was just brought out by Rinzler having no inhibitions
And as for Alan having a part in causing this…
well…I’ve joked before about Ram being coded partially by a cat, but… honestly? Alan is a guy who probably had a cat.
And that cat probably definitely walked across his keyboard enough times to be Tron’s secondary programmer.
