This is why I mostly don’t talk on Tumblr about (specific fandom) things I hate
Because if you do it in the main tags it’s mean to the people who like it
And if you do it untagged, or with a lesser-known tag, then it’s mean to the people who have a bad enough reaction to it that they have the tags blocked
The problem of "connect with people to share a thing we like, AND connect with other people to rant over a thing we dislike, BUT also avoid putting people’s dislikes in their faces without permission, AND avoid the wrath of the haters who go actively searching for things to hate on”… has not yet been solved.
