the best way to defeat a datawraith is to approach with seductive intent

one amorous touch to their achingly turned-on circuitry will alert them to what they really want

and they will instantly forget Violent in favor of Violet

taking this through to its logical conclusion leads to the usual program restart– “little de-resolution”– which for datawraiths will return them to their homeworld in the same way as regular de-resolution
