but in real life all that most of us can do individually to change The World is to exert tiny tiny influence on those who actually have the power to change things
With enough of us, it adds up. But individually it does mostly feel just like pointless exhaustion, most of the time
Gotta keep doing it though
So the throuples and love triangles are just something to keep our hearts going, while we slog through all the voting and protesting and calling our congresspeople
And also of course sometimes all we can save is ourselves and a few friends
If I ever get multiple people in my city falling in love with me, I’m inviting them to live in my house and we’ll be a little commune sharing resources and protecting each other and that’s worth doing too, just for itself, okay
