March 12th, 2026 3:10pm nobody even thinks about pharmacy technicians let alone has a sexual opinion on them we are the stage of medical care that everyone forgets about in fiction the doctor prescribes a medicine and then the character just has it in real life the patient comes to the pharmacy after waiting 6 hours in the ER and is outraged it'll take half an hour to fill their rx the med is just supposed to be here our whole job of entering and filing and trying to get it covered by the fucking insurance is just supposed to happen by magic actual doctors who are baffled that their patients aren't compliant with a medication regimen start taking that same med for the first time and for the first time in their DOCTOR career become aware how much it costs and what a hassle it is to get any of it covered each time we pharmacy techs are the ones no one thinks about EVEN THE ONES WHOSE JOB IS TO THINK ABOUT THIS STUFF so no. nobody gets off on us also since i am a tron blog i gotta mention i do apparently have a kink for insurance actuaries but ONLY because of Ram which is fucked up because they are my natural fucking enemy and I had to work through this by writing fic about what Ram does when he learns what insurance companies are really doing with his work delay deny derez
