I love that Uprising remembers that Tron is left handed

Just on a list of 1001 things I love about Uprising

Excuse me, what? Where and how is this established?

Bruce Boxleitner is left handed. It shows occasionally in 1982.

In Legacy the body actor I think was right handed so nobody cared but it can be headcanoned that he’s taught himself to be ambidextrous bc Flynn’s grid is built for right handed ppl (Flynn is right handed and made all the programs on the new grid and I find this hc that all his programs are right handed deeply amusing)

Scenes in Uprising I’ve noticed but there are probably more: when he fights Kobol he first wields his disc with his left

And in ‘we both know how this ends’ Able tosses him the part for his healing chamber by surprise and he catches it with his left hand instinctually. I just think that’s neat

yep!

definitely shows in 82

i mean, in the MCP-game-grid fight scenes he uses both hands pretty well (i imagine he was already kinda on the way to learning some ambidexterity by necessity, for that)…

but… when he finally gets to serve his true purpose, and he’s at the I/O Tower meeting Alan-1, in some level of freedom and safety for the moment… and he gets to choose which hand to undock his disc with?

yep.
