a repeated lyric, which is the only part so far that I’ve heard of a song called “pink bubblegum” that I didn’t even know existed a couple hours ago

“when you’re blue I’m red, i wanna kiss your neck and make you purple all over”

simply because it is so completely a Tron lyric

specifically, the scene where Tron (circuits blue as usual)

and Kevin Flynn (having disguised himself by turning his circuits red)

meet on the Solar Sailer and Tron looks at him and touches him in a way that is gay as hell

even if it weren’t for the fact that his touch changes Flynn’s circuitry back to blue, with a noticeable shade through purple in between

and the canonical (well, deleted scene but still!) information that purple circuits indicate sexual pleasure

…But.

With Tron on the brain, I also couldn’t help getting curious about the name of the deactivated OP of this post

That’s a name very reminiscent of another “savior” i was just talking about, isn’t it?

…But of course, I know better than to assume “Kellin Quinn” is just a weird way of saying Kevin Flynn. that’s got to be a whole other person somewhere, right?
