Let’s play a fun game I like to call “do I actually ship them romantically, or do I want their relationship to be acknowledged as extremely close and among the most important in their lives and calling it romantic is my way of achieving that?”

this is actually very similar to how i ship Tron and Ram
in my own real life i am very very unsure where the line is between friends and romance. I have been very poly for a long time and very comfortable with the idea of friends with benefits. so, sex being the thing that differentiates it doesn’t really work for me
and I imagine the lines being even blurrier for programs because much more stuff in their ordinary life involves sex (or at least, acts that could be interpreted as sexual depending on the context. that’s another whole blurry thing in how i imagine programs)
I want Tron’s relationships with Ram, Yori, Alan and possibly Flynn to all be recognized as extremely close and among the most important in his life.
and categorizing them into the human relationship categories we’re familiar with is always gonna be kinda useless. The closeness and importance is what matters to me.
anyway, getting them all ridiculously horny over each other does help with that.
