If Remy the rat used his hairbender powers to help Linguini make love to his girlfriend more skillfully, he’d be Cyrano de-bougie-rat
i chose the wording of Remy’s ability on a whim and it wasn’t the point of this post, but what the hell.
My Pattern Recognizer is now reminding me that
1. the way Remy controls Linguini is unlike anything that happens in the airbender series (except bloodbending i guess), but it’s actually pretty close to the concept of a videogame avatar
2. “Rat Avatar” is a palindrome, and therefore significant to my mind (for uncertain reasons, but strongly)
3. “Rat Avatar, The First Hairbender” is not anywhere near where i originally thought i was heading with this post but it’s as good a destination as any
