rocky’s planet is in the same constellation as reach from halo, eridanus. though they are different stars/systems, epsilon eridani and 40 eridani. i was checking stuff on wiki and i was like wait a minute..? they are pretty close. well. in a way. this means nothing, i just thought it was interesting

Also it is stated in some of the Star Trek novels that the planet Vulcan orbits 40 Eridani, that’s the first place I encountered the name
