hilarious Zeus AU where he makes this mistake with every eagle he controls/turns into
“gonna go kidnap ganymede” (gets stepped on by ganymedes sheep)
“gonna rip prometheus open and eat his liver again and again” (mildly annoying bite with tiny hedgehog teeth)
“got somewhere i need to go, fast, eagles go fast so I’ll be an eagle” sonic the hedgehog is born

theoretically he could just be a hedgehog controlled by zeus. the myths associating Zeus with eagles are often vague about whether it’s Zeus in eagle form or just some regular eagle doing Zeus’s bidding
but if Sonic gets his orders from Zeus i suppose there’s a whole range of how much freedom he has to interpret them
Zeus may or may not be able to control anyone perfectly as a User to a Program (but the Tronjacking side of me has gotta say I can imagine at least one he might try with)
