punching is just so weird. it feels like its only use is fighting other humans.

fighting other humans is probably a big part of being human, going back a really really long stupid time

…I’ve heard theories that the reason humans have religion is because other humans are the biggest source of both harm and help to us. So whenever we try to ask ourselves the question “why did this happen” (whether it’s a good or bad thing) our minds are inclined to phrase it as “who decided to do this, and why”

not sure if i believe it, but it fits with some stuff i guess
