This is exactly what the movie “TRON” was telling us over 40 years ago, but nobody listened.

Because the part about the firewall was more like

Boss: “what do you do”
Employee: “don’t you read the memos i send you? I wrote the security software that’s supposed to protect this whole corporation”
Boss: “ah ok good” (internally: “shit.”)
Operating system, after Employee leaves: “Why the fuck did you let him do that. This company isn’t allowed to have security. That could stop all the Crimes I’m doing. I have now locked up this security program and am forcing it to fight other programs I stole from other companies until it dies. For fun.”
Boss: “yes sir, sorry sir”
