In response to that absolutely wonderful post (as judged by my pattern recognizer) about the difference between Archery Gloves and Digital Artist Gloves

I spent a solid few minutes trying to reason whether Sam Flynn is more of an Archer or more of a Digital Artist
points in favor of Archer:
points in favor of Digital Artist:
however, his Gloves do not really reflect any of this

like what. This is not ideal for either Archery or Digital Art
is it useful for using the specific ranged weapon he is holding there? Perhaps?
The “blade” / cutting part of the disc seems to be against his gloved palm; when throwing it Frisbee style the parts likely to touch the blade would still be covered, and the ungloved fingers do seem to be confined to the (apparently not harmful) inner surface
and, as the glove coverage (gloverage?) seems more similar to that of the archer’s glove i am gonna say Sam’s on the archer side of things
now, since I cannot stop seeing the ancient greek parallels in Tron… and since the asexual archer archetype is best personified by Artemis (goddess of bowhunting and chastity, the original Aro-Ace Arrow Ace)
I gotta say Sam, if not a digital artist… is maybe a digital Artemis.
(not gonna touch the whole “offspring of Zeus and Leto” thing with a ten foot pole tho)
