i am enjoying putting everything I own in bags and boxes .. I usually clean one area at a time but it’s nice to do it all at once . feels very tidy with everything in a nice stack all secure. I’d keep it like this all the time if I could somehow also access the items easily and put them back easily too .even if they were at the bottom of the pile.

all my agreement on this. When I was living in an apartment I tried very hard to organize all my things into easily-movable containers that could still be easily accessed while in use.

have had mixed success, but tried many methods, so my current organizing system is kinda a mixture of like… stacks of milkcrates with fabric square bins in them; square buckets set on their sides; various types of small plastic totes used like drawers on metal NSF shelving

(honestly practically all my furniture is made of NSF shelving at this point, with the other methods adapted to fit on it in various ways)

not saying it’d be EASY to move all my possessions at this point, but it’d be lots easier than most people’s attempt to organize the same amount of stuff
