Reviewing ENCOM’s Building Security

Going down a rabbit hole (because I help coordinate control access/ campus security design at work and this is interesting to me)

If you look at the ENCOM key card IDs all the characters (and background characters) have, they do not have a bar code, it’s only their photos and name on the front. (Also, note that Ed is the only character that doesn’t wear his ID card because he’s a diva and it doesn’t match his outfit lol)

I honestly kinda love how easy it is.

It perfectly matches my own experience with every supposedly secure place I’ve worked.

Especially the “working late?” scene. And Flynn’s little hand swipe through his hair just long enough to hide his face from the security guard.

Who clearly trusts Alan and Lora enough to not even ask who’s the other guy with them.

The things you can do, if you can just manage to look like what they expect to see, and confidently act like you’re supposed to be there.

Also, Dillinger’s password being “Master.”

Will NEVER stop being the perfect mixture of hilarious and totally realistic.
