as someone who writes elaborate fan theories on Tumblr, frequently polishes them into lovingly-crafted fanfics, and can barely stand to watch any Youtube video for more than half a minute… one of my fears is that someday one of these Youtube Fan Theories guys will steal one of my headcanons down to the exact wording, and they will get all the credit, and I will never know about it. (Until maybe someone with no sense of linear time hunts me down and accuses me of plagiarism.)
