Been thinking about the Castor|Zuse character a lot since I wrote This Is The Dawning. And yep he’s always gonna be kind of a bird, to me

Parrot or cockatoo is a very good match. he’s got that lively, social, gregarious energy where he seems always about to start dancing. I’ve lived with parrots and they ARE like that. (They’ll also turn around and bite you, hard, out of nowhere.)

I’ve seen him compared to a swan, as well (probably because of the mythological origin of Castor and Pollux, though technically the swan wasn’t involved in that twin’s origin)
