So i just had to copy the signature from an email, paste it into a text file, select and change between lower case and caps, in order to distinguish whether this was “extremely lazy, barebones algorithm indicating the message was generated by LLM” or “guy answering my message is named Al”

(it was an L. That is apparently just his name. Which on the one hand gives me more respect for his integrity as a businessperson I’m trying to contract for something… but on the other hand gives him less excuse to be ghosting my messages for this long)
