all you saying “cinephile is a misnomer if you aren’t fucking the movies” you’re missing the point
the sexual “philias” are the misnomered ones. Eros is sexual love, philia is friendship
now, movies are NOT generally my friends so I’m still not a cinephile
but I’m also not usually much of a cinerast (moviefucker)
