it really is crazy that women’s clothes don’t fit anybody. fat women can’t find clothes, skinny women can’t find clothes, tall women can’t find clothes, short women can’t find clothes, big chested women can’t find clothes, small chested women can’t find clothes. who the fuck are these being made for
we all really resonated with this one huh
As near as I can tell they’re all just designed to hang on hangers.
And most of them don’t even look good on the hanger.
mass-produced clothes are not made to fit anyone well
pretty much every famous person you ever saw on tv looking good in their clothes had the clothes specially tailored to fit them
clothes historically have usually been made to fit a person, not the hypothetical idea of every person who might wear them
i don’t think there’s a solution to this that works for everyone in the present day
but I personally have been having some luck with designing my own (very simple, loose, comfortable and adjustable) clothes and figuring out how to optimize how they work for both my convenience and my sense of aesthetics
perhaps someday i will find the time and energy to make some tutorials or something… or at least show pics
we all need more options, and i guess whatever any of us can add to the pool of options is something
