“I am god’s gift to the world” – objectifying me. making my value contingent on what the rest of the world thinks of me as a thing transferred to their possession. no thanks

“the world is god’s gift to me” – delightfully solipsistic. centers my own importance. objectifies rest of world as my possession. still puts god in a position of having some power over me, which needs to go

“god is the world’s gift to me” – makes me look like I care about the fact that the world somehow generated religion and then tried to push it on me

“god is my gift to the world” – makes me look like i’m starting a religion. (stupid but powerful)

“the world is my gift to god” – makes me look like i am destroying the entire world as a religious sacrifice. (powerful but stupid)

“I am the world’s gift to god” – also portrays me as an object changing hands, but in a way that kinda sounds like god created the whole world for the purpose of making me. kinda makes me look more powerful than god (vitally important, worth eons of work, and so complex even god couldn’t make me without a lot of intermediate steps.) possibly also that I overcame god’s omniscience and managed to be a surprise.

“gift god is my the to world”– alphabetized. perfect. no notes.

there is probably no way i can convince you i was not even thinking about Quorra from Tron Legacy saying all this when i wrote it
