the thing about public restrooms is that people will literally piss all over a toilet seat & think “this is perfectly acceptable condition to leave this restroom in, i dont feel remotely embarrassed about being seen leaving this room in this state”
In fact they will literally think this is the most sanitary thing to do, because they view actual contact with toilet seats as the disease hazard
i have seen real people say this, in person. I have seen people say that if you sit on a toilet seat instead of “hovering,” you’re disgusting and you’re going to get horrible diseases and it’s your fault
(And therefore, presumably, if this causes you to make a horrific mess of the seat it isn’t going to be a problem because no person who cares about cleanliness will be trying to sit on it anyway)
