Tron Stories
About this fandom:
I'm one year older than this franchise but I just fell in love with it in 2023. I'm already a devoted 1982 original-movie fan. (Not so much Legacy, though I do like some of it. The original, to me, has the feel of a movie by an independent scriptwriter who pitched it to Disney.... while Legacy feels like a Disney movie . Liking anything owned by Disney already annoys me, so the original is my focus for now.)
In my understanding, the Legacy Grid is Kevin Flynn's secret homemade playground. The Tron there is a copy. The ENCOM system is its own place with its own programs, and that's where my stories live. I want Ram rerezzed, and I want the original copy of Tron to be in a loving polycule forever with Ram and Yori and Alan-1. (Also, his permission is the only reason Sam Flynn was able to get past ENCOM security to play pranks.)
All my Tron fanfic, unless otherwise specified, follows the worldbuilding and interpretations of canon described here. These stories happen in the ENCOM system, before/during/after the 1982 TRON movie. But he's not able to handle every infiltrator. And it's driving him crazy.

A reinterpretation from the viewpoint of Clu's Bit. Fix-it fic for a few different tragedies. Technically canon-compliant, because canon is vague as hell and I love it for that.
Daemons can be repossessed, Clu and Ram are drift-compatible, Programs can be copied and backed up.... and Bits are good for a lot of things.

Tron/Ram, Tron/Yori, Ram/Yori-- frequent references to Tron/Alan and other Programs/Users-- polytheistic polycule in a world where worshipers and their gods have a sexual thing going on.
A subseries of works centering on the love between Tron and Ram, before, during, and after the events of the 1982 movie. Some unfinished. All compatible with my usual, more general headcanons and interpretations, but focused on those two beautiful cellmates (oh, Users, they were cellmates).

Ram is new to the ENCOM system. Many things are different here... even how it FEELS to be Called by one's User.
Tron is his cellmate, and there's no one else around to show him how things work. Luckily there's real chemistry between them, right from the start.

After Tron helps Ram acclimate to the new system, they're both a bit smitten, but Ram's timidness and Tron's repression are just as much an obstacle to their growing bond as the MCP's forcefields. And then the MCP decides to get Tron overcharged-- a new form of torture that only Ram can help him endure.

After helping Tron with his overcharge, Ram wants to help him plan for some future needs.

This is the Babylon-5-alluding-crackfic idea that refused to be funny or crack, and insisted on turning out far too thoughtful and deep and tender.
Crom... innocent frightened compound-interest calculator, written with the ability to count on his hands --in decimal, with ten fingers, or in hexadecimal, with... ah... ten plus six more.
There's another use for those features, too. But as far as THAT is concerned, he's never even gotten to One.
Ram is a helpful friend. Sad to admit that helping folks plan for the future is sometimes a lost cause. All too willing to indulge the newcomer's fantasy of getting all the way to Six, one last/first time before he's derezzed.
...apparently, it is "weird" to write totally non-penetrative tentacle porn with a totally subby tentacle monster. Good thing weird is 90% of my identity.

It's a small trilogy within my I/O Towerverse settings, right after "The Greatest Little Deresolution." Each part can stand alone pretty well, but they make one full story together. I've separated them because they have different levels of eroticism, and different levels of focus on worldbuilding and headcanons.

Sometimes a life of grief happens in a few nanocycles.

Here's what happened in the deleted part of the Deleted Scene.
Tron is losing his mind with arousal from the Call of his User.
He was able to manage it while imprisoned... (the Call doesn't come through so strongly in the cells, and he was willing to relieve it by himself or with his cellmate if it got unbearable).
Now, for the first time in 200 microcycles, he feels it at full strength... while also aware that for the first time in all those microcycles, he can actually answer it as intended.
But it'll still be a while before he can get to the Tower.
Yori knows he'll need some relief before then. Tron himself is... harder to convince.
Yori/Tron

Planned outline:
- Yori says "they haven't seen us" and then goes down that slide effortlessly. Tron, whose programmed PURPOSE requires much more agility and stealth than hers, tumbles down it like a doofus and then says "I think they saw me."
-Yori realizes Tron is... NOT at his best. that little bitch Alan is still edging him. (plus Tron has butt circuits and Yori doesn't have butt circuits, and sliding down that thing ON his butt circuits has gotta be torture if he's already that aroused)
-She drags him into a secluded corner & gets him off one more time, before they have to face Dumont.

-Alan STILL won't shut up! So, Tron is right on the edge AGAIN, when he reaches those steps.
-Following scene is Tron's POV.... of how it feels to finally, FINALLY interface with his User in the Tower
-But there is still a language barrier there. so even though he is relieved, he can't TELL Alan everything he'd like to.
-Whatever form of communication they're using has ways to express things like "location confirmed" and "get the data I've edited into the heart of the MCP" but no words for "please could you not be such a circuit-tease for a few microcycles okay?"

A Lightcycle Built For Two

Aster's a disaster, and her past is no exception. She was written for a advertising company, got stolen by ENCOM in the 1980's, and has been a bit of a mad engineer, jack-of-all-tasks, and overall wildcard since then.
She's survived over two decades with no contact from her User. When that same User appears out of nowhere, both of them are an absolute mess with no clue how to handle it.
A Lightcycle Built For Three: Electric Buggery

Still in the works. I blame Max, who finds literally every detail of the 1982 movie hot, including the tanks, and wanted to see Aster in a tank-driver suit.
So, I decided Aster drives a tank when she does the "Gridbug Taming and Training" jobs she mentioned in the first story. After all, if you're called to deal with a gridbug infestation, you'll want some firepower, even if your tactics are generally nonviolent. You never know for sure if this latest outbreak of bugs will be amenable to your training techniques.
Of course she'll bring along some friends, and of course they'll have an orgy in the tank. Because why not.
A Lightcycle Built For Four: The Recognizing

Planned outline:
Virtually nothing planned for this one beyond the title.
It'll have something to do with the fact that Aster's bike is modded to look like a Recognizer.
And also the fact that, in the I/O Tower headcanon, programs consider 4 to be the ideal number for one's polycule. Or at least, every program ought to have three partners: User, Friend and Counterpart. Aster is not quite there yet, but she might make it.

Remember when I said I was going to make a music video...about the difference in BUTT AESTHETICS...between the Uprising Grid and the ENCOM system?

So, on discord we were lusting over the idea of splicing together scenes of Tron and Ram to look like someone's going down on someone.
There is NOT NEARLY enough footage, but I managed.
The runtime just happened to line up about right with "Little Interludes" by Wendy Carlos so that's the music score I used.
